Would you like to know what is the average salary of your fellow PMs? Would you like to know which requirement management tool is the most used by others?

As part of our efforts to improve ILPMA, we have added a cool new service – mini surveys.
These surveys are completely anonymous and would take less than two minutes from your precious time. The results would be published both in ILPMA website and as part of our monthly newsletter.

To participate in the survey, click here.

We appreciate your participation in these surveys and hope you’ll find them interesting and useful. If you have any specific questions you would like us to survey, please send them by email to
editor@ILPMA.org.

This Month’s Article:

Why Don’t They “Get It” – Are They Stupid Or What?
Peter E. Cohen, Principal, The Second Derivative

Typical presentations and demos for new products (or from early-stage
companies) often
assume that the prospect knows that they have a problem and that the prospect is interested in solving it. That is the big
disconnect. You show a terrific vision of a solution – but your customer doesn’t understand the context. They’re thinking, “Why am I watching this? Where is this going?”
How can you possibly show a solution when they don’t even know they have a problem?

here.

In "The Second Derivative" website you can find many guidelines for
creating a great demo.
