“Tell me a fact and I’ll learn. Tell me a truth and I’ll believe.
But tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.”

The most common problem April sees in smaller companies is the inability to describe what they do in simple language. The second biggest problem is bringing that description to life with stories. In her blog, she describes 4 characteristics of a good product story:

· Clearly illustrates the product's unique value

· Short, and easy to tell and memorable

· Relevant to your target customers

· Illustrates measurable, concrete results

She also provides some other links around storytelling which are most useful for product marketing managers
