Getting The Most Out Of LinkedIn


As you all know, ILPMA organization opened a group in LinkedIn for its members few months ago.  Currently, our LinkedIn group includes 126 members. LinkedIn is a great tool for networking and we welcome those of you who have not yet registered to it to register now.  Here is the link to ILPMA Group registration page at LinkedIn:

Here are some tips, tricks and useful information about LinkedIn that will assist you in improving your usage of this great tool for enhancing your business network:

Who are the most linked people in LinkedIn?

Here are the 5 top linked people in LinkedIn (The number in the brackets is the number of direct connections): Ron Bates (31,080), Andrew 'Flip' Filipowski (22,920), Kenneth W. Weinberg (20,460), Wei Guan (18,660) and Octavio Pitaluga (17,760).

How can I view or locate colleagues in ILPMA group?

This is very simple. You have two options to do that:

· In the Home page select “See all members” near the ILPMA logo.

· You can also select “Advanced Search”. Then select the button “Search within my group” and mark ILPMA group. In this case you’ll see all members in this group, unless you add some other criteria.

How can I improve my resume in LinkedIn?

Guy Kawasaki is a great evangelist and a very practical person. In his blog, he gives a great short and visual explanation on how to write a resume in LinkedIn.
